“Don’t touch me. I’m super important!”

The duke of Daggerford is a selfish, arrogant man
who is far more interested in being loved and admired
than he is in ruling the region. He enjoys the pleasures
accorded to him by his station, considering himself a
connoisseur of fine food and wine. Unlike many of his
forebears, he has never had an adventuring life and
has no interest in facing such terrible danger.
M aldwyn bears the traditional weapon of the dukes
of Daggerford, a flame tongue (see page 215) named
Lawflame. The blade is said to have a mind and personality
all its own.
T he duke himself is a handsome man of not quite
middle age. He dresses in the finest clothing, made
by his own tailors from exotic cloths imported from
around the world.
